Programs and Focus

Our training is conveyed in two ways, one via Summer Break Camps and two, Private Coaching.  We will soon be looking to build an “After School Program” as well. Each session is divided among the (3) groups noted below or given at different time frames during a day. See schedule for your specific time frame interest. Each athlete who attends Ath-Elite will receive individual and group instruction. We will prepare your child for the next level of their growth no matter what stage they are at; a little league team, introducing them to a new sport, or helping them solidify their team position. Ath-Elite is perfect for all youths, boys, girls and levels. They will be placed in groups by age and skill, and our coaching staff will know what to do next in order to move their interest and skills forward in the best manner.

Beginner Sports for (Ages 3-5)
ATH-ELITE has developed sports programs for beginning athletes’.  However, it is never too early to participate in sports. Our beginner classes give athletes a head start in playing sports and receive lots of attention because of our 5 to 1 athletes to coach ratio.  See Programs and Schedule for more information.

Youth Sports for (Ages 5-12)
Although we encourage enjoyment of physical activity in general over pure emphasis of athletic ability, our focus is on the value of improving athletically even at a young age. We will of course encourage sportsmanship over winning. However, we believe that we can start at a young age a full appreciation for developing motor skills, comfort level with sports, training and conditioning, but to a lessor emphasized degree than say a teenager. We firmly believe that if we do not try to help a child along at this tender age, they are left to learn on their own, and confidence and self-esteem are huge factors that effect the overall building of a young developing athlete. As such, it makes total sense to help the young athlete get comfortable with oneself, their abilities, and to get past the "sink or swim" mentality that can exist when they join sport teams in the 5-12 year old range. We will emphasize aerobic activity, cooperative game play, flexibility, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, communication skills, basics and regulations for commonly played games, team building, and again the "mental awareness & toughness" that can be gently introduced and learned.  We will incorporate creative challenge courses and adventure activities to encourage kids to step outside their comfort zones and take controlled risks. We help build a better athlete and reach manageable personal goals, all while having fun.

High School Sports for (Ages 13-18)
Teen sports and those that participate as athletes have evolved to a much more sophisticated and expectational level. Many athletes who join at the high school level are expected nowadays by coaches to already have certain skills, awareness, mental toughness, conditioning abilities, and knowledge. This does not mean that if you lack in any of these areas that you will not be successful in high school as an athlete or that you cannot grow into being a fine athlete. There are many examples of college and pro athletes today that have made that leap and evolvement from mediocre to superb athletes over these transitional teen years. However, Ath-Elite believes we can again be trained to succeed. The difference as a teenager in the 13-18 year old range is that as young men and women they have decided already they want to be a better athlete, whereas in our youth we just want to "play ball."  We bring the applicable training, expertise, and mental support to "step-up" and improve teenage skill levels and further their specific goals. To some this may be through strength conditioning, footwork and balance, speed or explosion, specialized resistance training, core training, agility & quickness, or specific skill improvement of a particular sport like baseball pitching, throwing or catching a football, or setting a volleyball at the net! Ath-Elites at this age group establishes as an overall physical regimen, with the ability to tailor the work program to improve their specific athletic areas. So whether it is acceleration concerns, how to avoid a false step, or all of the above, we can help you reach or improve upon your present abilities as today's elite athlete. Healthy choices, nutritional knowledge, continued confidence, sport specific practice skills, and physical conditioning are all linked conditions that effect our performance levels, and make us prepared to equal or exceed our competition. Ath-Elites is established to build the better athlete available in all of us.
